Hines is not helping to disabuse my general supposition that every university social ‘science’ department should be closed down.
I imagine that there is still some valid research done in this field that would stand the test of intellectual credibility and usefulness but it is drowned out by the phalanx of grifting charlatans such as Hines.
Let’s have a year zero approach. Remove all taxpayer funding from the lot and start again with a small budget and rigorous approval of applications for new projects.
That is funny, so you are getting noticed for exposing these fraudsters. Hopefully the gravy train will soon come to end, and the public money can be used for it's intended purpose. I've known talented people who struggled to get any funding for their research projects, which can end their University academic careers. Some of these people have skills which are difficult to replace, but they are just not good at writing funding applications using the latest buzz words.
The sheer pomposity of these people is hilarious.
