Asylum and migration charity bill hits over £700 MILLION
£701,156,359, to be precise, across the last five tax years
Today it’s been announced that the Government will tax interest on cash held in stocks and shares ISAs.
Meanwhile it continues to haemorrhage money on the charity sector.
Case in point: I have calculated the Government spending on just 28 asylum and migration charities over the last five tax years, and the total comes to
£701,156,359!
Bear in mind there are over 170,000 charities registered on the Charity Commission for England and Wales, alone, so the figure could get much, much higher.
List of taxpayer-funded charities (asylum and migration)
Below accounts for 29 (and counting) taxpayer-funded asylum and migration charities. For context, there are 171,516 charities on The Charity Commission for England and Wales (at the time of writing) - a bit of a mission to comb through. I will be going for ones I deem the most problematic, in terms of exacerbating this country’s societal and economic woes (for instance, pushing open borders).
