Novara Media and Politics Joe's near identical coverage of anti-Musk activists
Deja vu alert!
This week I experienced a bit of deja vu when I saw the post below by Politics Joe, about the new campaign group “Everyone Hates Elon”:
It reminded me of Novara Media’s story the week before - when its reporters tracked down activists from “PeopleVsElon” and filmed them putting up an anti-Musk poster, this one more inflammatory (about “The Swasticar”):
When I pointed out the coincidence, Ava-Santina of Politics Joe kindly pointed out that PeopleVsElon and Everyone Hates Elon are “the same group of activists”.
Silly me!
It turns out incidentally that the group PeopleVsElon has since deleted its X account…
… Could it have rebranded after receiving backlash over its “Swasticar” campaign? Or is it simply that “Everyone Hates Elon” is so much catchier?
Anyway, isn’t it amazing how Politics Joe and Novara Media both got exclusive coverage of exactly the same activist group, doing exactly the same thing?
Talking of activist groups, I also love Led by Donkeys’ anti-Musk campaign. The group are real leaders in the “anti-Musk” activist space. Who knows how many more will enter the field!
