Last week The Spectator reported that Amy Lamé, London’s former “Night Czar”, has a new gig, as founder of 24hr Cities, a “global consultancy”:
It all sounds rather ridiculous, given that huge numbers of nightclubs closed on her watch. That’s until you put it into a broader context - an international one, in fact - and ponder whether Lamé part of a wider scheme being hatched by globalists (I can’t believe I am using that phrase..! It’s taken a lot of rabbit holes to get here), thus making her well-placed for this new venture.
Case in point, in February last year The Daily Mail ran a long feature about how Lamé’s “Trips to 'build partnerships', study nightlife and attend conferences have taken her to Mumbai, Melbourne and Sydney, Boston, Bologna, Berlin and Paris as well as Tallinn and even Lviv in Ukraine.”
It explained that they were funded through private donations
While in Sydney she even met up with other night czars:
Do they know something we don’t? What are they all up to at their global conferences? You have to wonder.
I used to think everything going wrong in London was due to Khan being incompetent, but now believe it can be explained by his role as co-Chair of C40 Cities (“a global network of mayors taking urgent climate action”), as well as his relationships with:
Mike Bloomberg (who sits on C40’s board);
the UN (where Bloomberg is the Special Envoy for Climate Change);
and the US Democrats.
Everything is interconnected, incestuous, self-perpetuating, cyclical… you name it.
To try and sum up, as I see it, essentially there’s a big blob of people - rich elites and their lackeys (mostly vain men like Starmer and Khan, who will do anything for power, including selling out their country) - who have been quietly planning a green utopia for us all (thanks, guys). Elites will generally benefit from the technology being foisted upon cities (e.g. by the elites having developed it/ owning shares in renewables).
The green utopia is sometimes referred to as a “Green New Deal” (an expression coined by the Democrats - Trump has just cancelled it, incidentally). The theory is that C40 Cities, signed up to the vision, will look like this…
… whereas in reality they look like this (London, at least):
It just doesn’t work in practice! (apart from if you have shares in renewables).
More on the Green New Deal below:
But back to Khan’s very global team…
Below I will give you some some examples of how internationalist they are, which ties in with everything I have mentioned. They all seem to think they are part of a Marvel-style progressive alliance to save the world.
There’s Justine Simons OBE, the Deputy Mayor for Culture…
… as well as being responsible for the GHASTLY Fourth Plinth, she’s the Founder of the World Cities Culture Forum and has even invoiced taxpayers for flights (including to Brazil) so she can perform this vital role:
Interesting that she and Lamé are both “founders” of these global projects.

Then there’s Khan’s long-time ally and protégé Mete Coban…
… who’s the Deputy Mayor for the Environment…
… in spite of the fact he clocked up 40,000 air miles while working as a Labour councillor and CEO of a “youth democracy” charity (that Alastair Campbell helped him set up and Tony Blair partners with, incidentally).
At the time he justified his travel by saying:
The majority of the flights relate to my role as the Chief Executive of a youth-led charity, and I make no apology for my advocacy on behalf of young people at some of the highest levels of decision-making, including at the United Nations and the White House.
Which I initially thought was nonsense (why would The White House/ UN care about the views of a Hackney councillor?), but now it all makes sense - and links to the fact the US Embassy (run by the Democrats) gave his charity a big grant to help nudge youth voters to the polls (who are then expected to vote for left-wing parties - keeping the progressives in power…)
Coban’s meeting with the United Nations takes us neatly on to Felicity Appleby, Khan’s Mayoral Director, Political and Public Affairs:
Most people have never heard of her (I only discovered her existence going through the profiles of Khan’s team), but she’s the former Global Head of Outreach at the United Nations in New York.
While working for Khan, she has taken various flights (invoicing taxpayers, of course). Here’s her flight bill for 2022-23:
Even Lamé relates to the UN, as she was tasked with implementing its ‘Women Safe Cities and Safe Public Spaces global initiative’.
Sometimes I wonder if her job was to actually try and ensure closures, perhaps so we can all live in wonderful 15-minute cities:
Khan himself is something of a frequent flyer. In September last year he posted:
From one great city to another.
I'm here in New York to bang the drum for London - encouraging American businesses and tourists to visit and invest in our capital
He can often be found in the US - hanging out with everyone from Ugly Betty…
… to the Clintons…
… to the Commissioner of Major League Baseball
… to the Mayor of NYC Eric Adams
… to his “good friend” Mike Bloomberg (the three-time Mayor of NYC):
… and, of course, the UN:
…. on and on it goes.
Rather ironically, yesterday the Mayor publicly opposed Rachel Reeves’ proposals for a third runway a Heathrow.
It’s just a bit rich coming a man of such outward focus…
… never mind his very global team.

Sobering for us in the U.K. to contemplate that if this ragbag of grifting good for nothings were Federal employees in the USA every last one of them would have been fired by Trump.
We can but dream of the day when they are sent packing here too. But probably in vain.
