Today I can reveal the latest figures from my directories of taxpayer-funded charities. The total taxpayer spending I’ve calculated across 65 charities (for the last five tax years) is £2.3 BILLION! (Bear in mind that there are 171,516 charities on The Charity Commission for England and Wales at the time of writing - so the bill is likely to substantially increase).
