The fact that politicians and civil servants feel it appropriate to spend taxpayers money on 'charities' is a real indicator of just how self entitled and authoritarian they have become. If we wish to give money to charity it is up to us to decide which ones. This is another outright abuse of the money they bleed from us. The sooner they are deposed the better.
When does a charity actually become a Government quango if they are predominantly funded through tax payers money.
I am fascinated to know who allocates this money … a committee, an individual … what it the process and how do they monitor the way that the money is spent
Charities are a huge business … shame we don’t treat manufacturing in the same way.
