Is it not likely that these same beneficiaries also received grants from other sources? I'm thinking here of the numerous local authorities scratching around to be demonstrably pro-DEI, and the government's 'research', budget, which sounds technological but within which funds are diverted to advancing the interests of the many people sucking on the taxpayers' teat. It's curious that unlike other countries, we even prefer to pay foreigners!
I hope you're sending your work to a list of journalists, a few MPs...and any other people/organisations who SHOULD be interested/outraged.
If these are examples of successful applications for Arts Council funding, I'd love to hear what some of the unsuccessful ones are!
