Youth democracy charity offers free drinks to promote voter registration

My Life My Say, the youth democracy charity that counts Sadiq Khan’s deputy as a director, has been offering free matcha to young people who register to vote.

… as well as them using a QR Code to sign up to vote:
It follows a joint campaign between My Life My Say and Ben and Jerry’s in which young people were given free ice creams to encourage them to register to vote.
Explaining its most recent voter registration campaign, My Life My Say posted:
“It’s been a week since we took over @outernetglobal with @lime and @perfecttedenergy for National Voter Registration Day 🗳️
Handing out free matcha and getting people to register to vote was tiresome work, but someone had to do it 😉🍵
A huge thank you to everyone who came down, registered and took part in the voting activation! We’re delighted to announce that that SOUTH LONDON got the most votes on the day and the AHOY Centre will be receiving a donation courtesy of @lime 💚

You will notice Lime Bike is mentioned above, which has long partnered with My Life My Say - and also posted about this initiative:
As I’ve said before, there’s much more than meets the eye to Lime Bikes. Globally this scheme has been rolled out to get young people on their bikes to the polling booth.
Make no mistake, all these freebies are designed to promote left-wing parties, which young people are expected to vote for (hence its essential to mobilise them).
It’s unsurprising from a charity that had Zack Polanski headline one of its recent events…
… and is no more than a voting nudge-unit for Labour/ the Left.
