Keir Starmer's "star economist" was awarded $3 MILLION from George Soros
Here's some serious foreign interference - the "good kind", of course!
Ever noticed how many times Labour uses the word “mission”? For instance, there’s a whole section dedicated to missions in the Labour manifesto (2024):
Even today Rachel Reeves was discussing a “mission”:
You can thank “star economist” Professor Mariana Mazzucato for this, who runs a department at University College London (UCL) titled the UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose, and is very obsessed with economic “missions”:
Her department just so happens to have received $3 MILLION from George Soros via his Open Society Foundations:
It’s worth adding that the department has EVEN more funders than this:
And many of these funders can also be found funding the C40 Cities, which Sadiq Khan is co-Chair of. Shared funders (of the UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose and C40) include: Bloomberg, ClimateWorks Foundation, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, Laudes Foundation, Open Society Foundations, European Climate Foundation.
Moreover, the government-sponsored UK Research and Innovation funds Mazzucato’s department. So not only is Starmer being advised by a Soros-funded economist, but our tax money has been mingled with his too.
Foreign interference, ey!

I first came across this missionary about four years ago. Talk about blindness to her own inadequacies! But then I guess this applies to our politicians as well, so they recognise their kindred spirits. And these are the people in charge ... We are steaming onto the rocks and there is no one to take the wheel from these opinionated, ill-educated, narcissists.
You’re a star, Charlotte, for continuing to shine a light on all this murkiness. There’s increasingly nowhere to hide for this corrupt lot thanks to the likes of you. We owe you a deep gratitude.
