I donât think itâs particularly controversial to point out that Sadiq Khan isnât a very good Mayor of London.
I used to think it was to do with incompetence (as well as being a psychopath - which he still is).
But I have a new theory, which is that London is Khanâs second job and his attention is very much elsewhere; globally directed, in fact.
Khan is co-Chair of C40 Cities - his âbabyâ, politically speaking - not that you can tell from his X bios:
While he lets everyone know heâs a husband and father (âaw, how lovelyâ), he omits that small thing of being co-Chair of a âglobal network of mayorsâ.
The media never lets us know about C40 Cities either - even though itâs kind of important! Khan, after all, has âcommitted to a Green New Deal for Londonâ. What the hell is that?
In even writing about this stuff I risk damaging my career. Just saying the words âglobal agendaâ - even when C40 Cities has a âGlobal Green New Dealâ aka a global agenda - is enough to get relegated to the Crank Bench.
And I am under no doubt that if I raised this stuff among my peer group I would be talked about afterwards. âCharlotteâs gone a bit weird - did you hear when she was ranting about Khanâs global agenda?â Imagined reply: âYeah, lockdown did that to a lot of people.â
Isnât that the point? Societies are indoctrinated into a belief system; in this case, the climate emergency - which leaves young people behaving like Red Guards, albeit, non-violent (for now). If you break with the consensus and start saying âthis is a bit funny, no?â, you become the strange one.
Back to this Green New DealâŚ
Until recently I never even realised the âGreen New Dealâ was a thing - itâs like my brain was also taught not to notice. You see the words but you donât really take them in.
I even wrote about C40âs Global Green New Deal in June but I was a bit miffed more than anything (by the way, the piece will give you a good explanation of how it began).
"Who Funds You?"đłđď¸| C40 Cities
With London running so smoothly, perhaps itâs no surprise that Sadiq Khan has had time for an impressive second job.
Only a week ago I started to realise the significance of these words. For instance:
We have a cross-party coalition of âGreen New Deal Rising Championsâ in Parliament.
There was a Green New Deal Parliamentary Group (now expired)
Khanâs Deputy Mayor for the Environment promoted the Green New Deal when he was Hackneyâs Cabinet Member for the Environment:
At the time Mete Coban (above) was CEO of My Life My Say, a youth charity that tried to encourage whippersnappers to vote. Itâs obsessed with âDemocracy Cafesâ - which Starbucks was only too happy to facilitate:
This is more interesting when you consider that corporate-sponsored C40 is after more youth engagement (and youth engagement generally is seen as instrumental to promoting the eco agenda):
Back to KhanâŚ
In recent weeks, the Mayor of London has been in the US, speaking at the Clinton Global Initiative. Itâs another openly weird thing that doesnât interest anyone in the media. The Clintons are âthe good type of richâ, you see.
He also attended the Summit of the Future with the UN and others in his capacity as C40 Co-Chair. Who the hell are âClimate Groupâ and Climate Pledgeâ by the way?
And isnât it interesting that Khanâs Mayoral Director of Political and Public Affairs, Felicity Appleby (paid ÂŁ147,770-per-year) - who most people have never heard of - was âpreviously Global Head of Outreach at the United Nations in New Yorkâ. She has taken numerous flights to New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles while working for Khan (more below).

AnywayâŚ
Coincidentally, around the same time of Khanâs eco mission, the new CEO of My Life My Say was also meeting the UN. He described it as âA real *pinch me* momentâ:
But not if you connect the dots. He and Coban - âget down with the kidsâ/ Tik-Tok fluent types - are merely a channel to the target market. That is, Gen Z and other youngsters who rich people want to âmobiliseâ to vote, expecting them to vote Left. Thus, with enough votes they can get âtheir guysâ - the left-wing candidates through - to push through this Green New Deal. That Khan is on a third term isnât actually a big surprise, when you put it in this context, as he still has to finish the job. Heâs completely open about it! I just hope it doesnât mean heâs still Mayor in 2030âŚ
Itâs no coincidence that his second-hand man Coban, who can barely string a sentence together, was recently made â2024-2025 Obama Foundation Europe Leaderâ:
Iâm sure itâs because Kamala Harris (Obamaâs candidate) is the âGreen New Dealâ gal. The Obama Foundation wants to inflate Cobanâs abilities so that he can stay put, âmobilisingâ youth democracy, on the other side of the pond. It helps cement a global alliance for the ânew dealâ of green turd. *YES, I AM GOING TO BE CALLED A CRANK.*
The website spelt out Cobanâs main talent, as far as the Obama Foundation is concerned: âamplifying youth voices and engaging young peopleâ
In other words, getting young people to the ballot box.
Itâs starting to make more sense as to why Cobanâs charity - which most people have never heard of and whose âcharitableâ activities include giving young people free Lime Bike rides, chocolate and ice cream to vote - is such a favourite with establishment figures:
