Why was I blocked by Best for Britain?
Weird how this happens when I point out funding networks!
On Tuesday I discovered I have been blocked on X (formerly known as Twitter) by Best for Britain.
I wonder what I did to upset the pro-EU group…
Was it when I pointed out that Best for Britain has had nearly £4 million in funding from George Soros’s Open Society Foundations?
Here is a full breakdown, incidentally:
But the blocking doesn’t stop there.
I am also blocked by Alex Andreou, known as “@sturdyAlex” on X, who is responsible for Best for Britain’s “Guest tweets”:
I genuinely have no idea who Alex Andreou even is. Here’s a picture of him in conversation with Naomi Smith, CEO of Best for Britain (interview here):
The only reason I know about his existence is, in the past, he used to be rude about me on X. Sadly I cannot show my readers the tweets as he has put his profile onto “Protected Mode”, which means they are now out of view. But he is a pretty vicious sort; imagine the boy at school pulling a girl’s pigtails combined with a Rottweiler. One day when he pulled my metaphorical pigtails, I went on the attack, and that’s when he blocked me.
Together, Andreou and Smith host a podcast titled “Quiet Riot”, which has had incredible guests such as James O’Brien…
… O’Brien being the great pal and former LBC colleague of Carol Vorderman…
… who has repeatedly plugged Best for Britain:
Anyway, it turns out the Quiet Riot podcast has also blocked me:
I’m not sure why as it claims to be a “darling, baby podcast”…
… so you’d think it might want every bit of publicity available - even yours truly giving it a retweet.
Even more curious is why it’s asking for support, via a Ko-fi funding link, when Soros is in the background.

A badge of honour.
Clearly hit a nerve
