Today I wanted to explain why you shouldn’t buy a National Lottery ticket.
This is something I’ve been meaning to write about for some time. Although I mainly cover taxpayer-funded waste, The National Lottery is almost, if not equally, as big a problem in terms of funding ideologically-loaded projects. This is a great shame given the amount of people who place their trust in it and the good its done over the years.
To give a few examples I’ve previously written about… £64,000 of National Lottery funding, via Arts Council England (ACE), was given to a show about a non-binary artist finding a sperm donor:
Worse still, National Lottery funding was given to “The Common Knowledge”, essentially an organisation that teaches young people how to be militant left-wing activists…
